Last week DJ.S became the toast of Australian DJ’s as he became the first Australian DJ to top Mixcrate.com’s “PICK OF THE WEEK” charts. Having already conquered Mixcrate’s “MOST PLAYED” chart with “The Ultimate 80′s Megamix”, DJ.S’s latest and outstanding tribute to the 70′s has added another prestigious accolade to his growing reputation as Australia’s Ultimate DJ.
The Ultimate 70′s Megamix was inspired by a 70′s themed engagement party where DJ.S was asked to mix the greatest songs of the 70′s. The occasion left such an impression that DJ.S was inspired to find what arguably were the best 100 songs from the 70′s and mix, mash and blend them all up in under 80 minutes. Thus being able to fit onto cd and be distributed amongst friends and family. However thanks to the internet the mix never quite made it that far and was instead uploaded to the internet via mixcrate.com. The popularity of this mix obvioulsy led to it being heard by the powers that be at Mixcrate.com, and the talents of DJ.S were displayed for all visitors of mixcrate.com to experience.
